Accounting Careers Seminar - April 2008

Every year McGinty Recruitment hosts two free Careers Seminars for our talented Accountants as a way of adding value to their careers. In April 2008 we hosted a very successful seminar with over 50 people attending. It was a seminar based on career planning and management tips from three leading Finance Executives in Brisbane.

Our three finance executives focused their presentations on how they reached the top by sharing their insights and recommendations. They discussed how to manage your career, how to reach your full potential, explained what they look for when recruiting or promoting staff and reflected on their career setbacks and achievements.

CPA Graduate Conference - March 2008

McGinty Recruitment was very fortunate to be invited to speak at the CPA Graduate Conference at the Sofitel on Monday 17th March.  Our Managing Director Gavin Houchell held a session for 300 domestic and international students on how to present yourself in the current market place.  Gavin spoke about preparing your resume, to make your ‘Resume Stand out in Crowd’, preparing for job interviews and how to apply for a job.  To download Gavin's presentation, please click here.
