Current Trends in Salary Packages

Value Add instead of % Increase

With great candidates becoming increasingly difficult to find, the best strategy now is to retain your current staff. Salary is not the only key criteria a candidate will look for these days, and many companies are now offering incentives to distinguish them as ‘preferred employers’.   Such incentives include –

 

  • Corporate Massages on a weekly or fortnightly basis
  • Flexi days
  • Profit share
  • Mental Health days, i.e. 4 days per year in addition to sick or annual leave.

 

So when you’re onto a good thing – stick with it! Chances are you won’t have much luck finding a replacement easily.
