After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998, Paul spent 2 years working in Paris for a privately-owned American finance company - Active International, before being promoted into an Account Management role in 2000 and relocating with them to their London offices. Over the following 5 years with this company Paul was based in the UK until he took the plunge and moved to Sydney at the end of 2004. After a short period with a generalist agency in Sydney, Paul joined AccountAbility (part of the Ambition Group) in July 2005 to focus on permanent Accounts support recruitment across the North Sydney region.

In October 2006 Paul was promoted to manager of the Chatswood Branch of AccountAbility overseeing a team of temporary and permanent consultants. Paul relocated to Brisbane in November 2007 as Senior Manager for both Love* Recruitment (our office support business) and also the accounts support arm of McGinty.

After completing a degree in Applied Psychology, Claire gained 8 years of valuable commerce experience in professional consulting and account management, across a variety of industries including health, leisure and retail sales.

Aside from handling internal recruitment needs, Claire enjoys working closely with businesses to achieve their financial goals and in turn help people achieve their personal goals.

Claire joined McGinty Recruitment in May 2008.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at Kings College London, Jasmin joined the London branch of Bloomberg LP where she worked in customer support. Jasmin then moved to their global data department, where she dealt with bond issuance for the Euro markets and was a part of the branding and recruitment teams – recruiting new graduates.

After 2 years, Jasmin was transferred to the global data department in Sydney where she covered new issuance of IPO’s, mortgages and bonds for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Jasmin also worked on the financial helpdesk and assisted with in-house recruitment.

Jasmin moved to Brisbane in early 2008 and joined the McGinty Recruitment team.

After completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in HRM and business finance, Jo obtained solid experience in people management across the hospitality and retail sectors.

Jo worked as the State HR manager for a high profile fashion company up until 2005 when she decided to travel for 12 months.

Jo returned to Australia and joined McGinty Recruitment in 2006 to focus her generalist experience into the recruitment market.

Gregg began his career within the hospitality and promotions industry, working for an international hotel group as well as a small promotions agency based on the Gold Coast.

Gregg then decided to change his career direction and joined GE Money in their contact centre. Gregg spent 4 years at GE Money before taking a position with a national mortgage company working in their sales team for residential home loans.

After taking a small break to the UK in 2005, Gregg returned to Brisbane and took a role with a small boutique firm specialising in banking & finance recruitment. With a passion for recruitment Gregg spread his wings over the next 3 years and gained exposure in both external and internal recruitment within the banking & finance and government sectors.

Gregg joined McGinty Recruitment in September 2008.

Eddie completed his English Literature and Sociology degree in 2004, after which he joined a medical insurance company where he worked as a medical records officer. In 2006, Eddie moved to a customer service team leader role with a recruitment company based at Heathrow Airport in London.

Due to Eddie’s strong leadership and customer services skills he quickly moved into a permanent recruitment consultant position and joined the company’s West London team. After nine months in this role Eddie made the decision to move to Australia with his partner.

Eddie joined the love* Recruitment team in January 2008.

Katy has had 6 years experience as a senior manager for a medium sized business specialising in corporate entertainment in the UK. This experience enabled Katy to gain exposure to all aspects of business including management, recruitment, marketing and business development. After successfully developing the business, it was sold to private owners which led Katy to a career in recruitment.  

Katy joined an international recruitment consultancy in London working with a number of high profile clients before making the decision to move permanently to Brisbane.

Emma has over 10 years of reception experience. Emma is a multi-talented team member and covers a variety of roles, providing both corporate and team support.

Emma enjoys taking on all challenges with full gusto and primarily believes it’s due to McGinty’s dynamic culture that has made the transition so easy for her.
